Now I finally got my driver’s license and can finally drive around a bit more freely and maybe even reach places I’ve never been to before. While driving through the more rural areas around Berlin, I immediately remembered how beautiful the city actually is. Then I got pulled over and heard the wonderful sentence: “Routine traffic control, driver’s license and vehicle papers, please!” and my heart instantly dropped. With all the unpredictability that can happen during those controls, you’re never really sure if everything is okay… whether you’re about to lose your license or just continue driving.
